This uncommon anthurium is known for its leathery strap leaves. As a young plant, they look similar to an Anthurium vittarifolium, but in maturity, the gracile is distinct for its upright growth, large root systems and bright red berries. A simple but beautiful addition to any plant collection.
This plant loves a warm, high humidity position in bright indirect light, but can tolerate moderate humidity. Keep moist but do not overwater, especially in winter. Feed with a weak liquid fertiliser during periods of growth.
All pictures are of plants currently for sale or previously sold at The Tropic Gardener. The plant photographed should be used as an indication of size and quality only and may not be the exact plant you receive. Form and colour will vary slightly.
