Alocasia azlanii, also known as 'Red Mambo' or 'Jewel Alocasia', is part of our new and exciting Hidden Gems range. It is a rare, tropical Alocasia that naturally grows in Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. Essential for any serious Alocasia collector, this gorgeous, veiny specimen has a burgundy metallic sheen that will make you want to stare at it all day!
CARE:
Prefers a warm, humid spot with bright indirect light indoors, or a sheltered position outdoors. Plant in a well-draining soil mix, and only water when the top 3-5cm of the soil feels dry. Use a nitrogen rich fertiliser in spring to encourage lush growth and a healthy root system.
