Similar to its relative, Dischidia 'Rattle Skulls', the Dischidia pectinoides is an epiphytic species that develops hollow, pocket-shaped foliage which provides a home for ants in its natural habitat. A must-have for any Dischidia collector!
Prefers a warm spot with bright light indoors, or outdoors in a sheltered position. Use a well-draining potting mix and allow soil to dry between watering. Dischidia prefer to remain snug in their pots, so refrain from repotting too frequently. Fertilise throughout spring and summer to promote flowering.
