This unique cultivar is unlike the cebu blue and green epipremnum pinnatum. The 'Asian form' has a muted blue hue similar but not as vibrant as the cebu blue, and is distinguishable by the fenestrations that it develops far earlier than its counterparts. Young plants with only 4 or 5 leaves have presented with fenestrations.

If you prefer, tying the stem to a textured pole so it can attach aerial roots will result in larger leaves. Having the same easy care as a normal pothos, this rarer item is a good place to start for new plant collectors.

CARE:

Grow in a warm spot indoors in cooler climates or a sheltered spot outdoors in warmer climates. Keep soil moist but not wet. Apply liquid fertiliser monthly during growth period.

PLEASE NOTE:

All pictures are of plants currently for sale or previously sold at The Tropic Gardener. The plant photographed should be used as an indication of size and quality only, and may not be the exact plant you receive. Form and colour will vary slightly.

Care instructions:
We recommend a quality well-draining mix to provide aeration and deter root rot. A good way to gauge if your plant needs a drink is to feel the soil with your finger. Test to see if the soils is still wet a couple centimetres down. The same test can be done with a moisture meter but be sure to sample multiple spots to get an accurate reading. Remember that the rate of watering provided is a guide only and should be adjusted depending on your potting medium and the environment in which you keep your plant. Happy gardening!
