Hoya multiflora 'Shooting Star'

This one is a must have for every Hoya collector! This uncommon variety, also known as 'Bright Spark', may look rather unremarkable, but don't be fooled by its plain foliage. The Hoya multiflora 'Shooting Star' produces a stunning display of bright yellow, reflexed flowers on long stems, which, as the name suggests, resembles a cluster of shooting stars. 

NOTE: 

Hoya will often produce long tendrils that initially remain bare, without foliage. These tendrils will eventually develop leaves, so refrain from cutting these long vines unless you wish to propagate, or are purposefully pruning for aesthetic purposes. 

CARE:

Prefers a warm spot with bright light indoors, or outdoors in a sheltered position. Use a well-draining potting mix and allow soil to dry between watering. Hoya prefer to remain snug in their pots, so refrain from repotting too frequently. Fertilise throughout spring and summer to promote flowering.
