This unusual grafted cactus is known for the distinctive, white crest the forms down the central, dorsal surface. As it grows larger, the central groove on the Parodia scopa cv. inermis cristata expands in such a way that the entire outer surface becomes covered in white dots and soft spines.
CARE:
Requires a full sun position, with a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Water very sparingly and allow to soil to completely dry out before watering. Cacti prefer to remain snug in their pots, so refrain from repotting too frequently, and only do so in spring/ summer months. Use a well-draining potting mix, ideally one specifically formulated for cacti/ succulents, and fertilise with a cacti/ succulent specific fertiliser in spring to encourage rigorous growth.
