The philodendron pastazanum gets its name from its native habitat in the rainforests of Pastaza, in Ecuador. This beauty develops exceptionally large, emerald green leaves with stunning bullate appearance.
The oastazanum creeps laterally along the ground as it grows, developing roots at each node to anchor itself. For optimal growth and large leaf size, provide this philodendron with horizontal space to crawl.
CARE:
Prefers a warm, humid spot with bright indirect light indoors, or outdoors in a sheltered position. Use a well-draining potting soil (an aroid mix is ideal) and allow soil to partially dry out before watering. Fertilise throughout spring and summer.
